    Samsung Jet Apps
I recently just bought the Samsung Jet on a contract deal and was wondering whether or not the phone can actually edit documents or whether it has the capability of creating documents.

I thought, for my college years, I would buy a touch screen phone as it would come in handy as an organiser or a diary, but the problem is, I tend to like writing long notes/journal entries (definitely more than the 1000 characters the Jet is limiting me per entry). So I was wondering, is there any way I can expand the limiting option in the memo field of the phone? Or can I download an application which can be compatible with the Jet as well as help me produce long journal entries?

Otherwise, if there is no solution to this, is there any other phone which can serve as a good organiser as well as a "journal" that's touch screen?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

I don't know the Jet, nor it's abilities, but the alternative you seek is the HTC Hero.

You'd be mad to go for the Magic over the Hero IMO.

Go for the Samsung HD if watching movies and taking photos is your thing.

go for the Hero if you want a really good smart phone.

Not really if you're going to get it on contract. They are basically the same phone.

But the Magic on vodaphone doesn't have to be a expensive 24 month contract. You can actually get some reasonably priced 18month contracts from Vodaphone.

Ive been looking at the Jet as my next phone.

Apparently from the reviews ive read you cant edit documents on the phone, just view them. And with regards to the memo field, the 1000 characters is standard. You might have to check via google for an app available to help you produce long entries.

I take it the Jet is the Omnia 2? Haven't looked at it much. If it is, should have office mobile installed with onenote and word. Can't imagine they'd be limited.

Would I be able to instal onenote mobile onto my Samsung Jet or not?
Because I heard that there's a way to install onenote on windows mobile devices, but would it also work on a device which does not run on a windows OS?
