Say the method of coding is y=((x+a)/b), after having worked out the standard deviation of the y values what do you do then to work out the standard deviation of the original set, and why?

in short though, if (x bar) = a + b (y bar)
then σx = bσy

that means u'll need to rearrange the coding formula to get x in terms of y
