I sent my maths application off in October last year and got my offer in March. So expect to be in for a long wait and don't get stressed. The maths department are really slow.

Well I was waiting nearly two weeks! That's normal apparantly - I phoned the admissions tutor!!!

Expect to be waiting quite a while more for those university choices so it's not worth the sweat bud!

They may not even consider you for months and Cambridge will obviously call you to interview first.

Have confidence in yourself but relax for now, it's not even mid-November yet.

Everyone going for Cuth's, good choice I don't remember how long it took for me to officially get an offer from them last year after track had changed, a week maybe? Good luck anyway

I wouldn't worry.. the fact its in a college means you probably got an offer. It might be months yet.

because they have a crazy workload...

in norway, you get in to university on grades alone. this means no referee, no personal statement, no predicted grades. you apply in the spring, and computers calculate your points after everyones exams, and offers are made in the summer. all applictions are handled by one big ...office, independent to the unis. don't say this is a better system than the English one, but the application process and the emphasis on the personal statement scared me...but I have to say, it's quite nice to have some sort of personal "relationship" to the process!

Because they've got loads to look at, and might have to send your app to other colleges.
They might not have even looked at your application yet.
Don't worry - youre 99% guaranteed a place anyway.
