What about in a computing course?

Are you a mature student, yourself?

I'm doing nursing, and there are loads of mature students. I think it just shows that most people there are actually ready to learn and want to get on with it.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. They're just as eager to learn and develop their skills as any other student.
My accommodation is full of mature students...I'm not sure what to think about that. I guess it has it's pros and cons :s-smilie:

What would you think about a course that has a lot of mature student about 30+?

Why do you ask, and what difference would it make?
Most people don't get past their teens inside their heads.

I would think:

~ popular course
~ no silly hormonal young 'uns disrupting classes
~ inspirational
~ think what I could learn from them and their life experience
~ wow - there really is life after 30!
as being a mature student i might be a bit basis opinionwise having a lot of mature students in a course at university tells me that they prepared to work hard and get the work done and not there to just mess about and party all the time.Like i seen some younger ones do.I have no problems with either age groups but university you there to gain a qualificiation/career especially if its medicine, nursing etc you not there to just go clubbing etc:yep:
