Could anyone do the second part of the uniform question (the triangle bit)?

I must have spent half an hour on that and I could not get it to match.

it was something like:-

X~U[4,10]

X is a wire, which is made into an equilateral triangle.

You had to prove A (The area of the triangle) =(√3)(X²)÷36 or something of the sort.

I spent so long on that that I'd completely forgot about continuity corrections and had to rush back and correct my work.

I also remember writing the binomial wrong! I wrote X~B(0.8,50) instead of the other way round. I wont get marked down for that will I? It isn't pivotal to the question, it just makes me look stupid!

I hope it went well, I only need 73% for my A.
