Went into it to just drop off a book, but of what I seen it was very impressive.

Doe anyone know what they're doing about the old library?

Its fab! Shiney and lovely and loads of space. I love it!

The old library is going to be a visitor's centre, I think. And the Heaney is definitely going to be a new postgrad centre...in a way I think they should have kept the Heaney the way it is, because its basically a good computer facility.

I will have to take my camera and get photos as I am a CS Lewis geek, may even go as far as getting someone to take my picture beside the door. Tsk tsk I am worse than a tourist but thanks for making me happy!!!

yea my whole family are asking me to take pics as im the first to go to QUB but i also am a cs lewis geek! it actually completed freshers week for me. sure just wait till nobody is around and get loads. even the rug has a cs lewis theme so there's enough to keep u happy!

I hate it. You can tell the priority was to create a flashy building that they could show off, not to make a good working environment. Also, there are already a chronic shortage of computers at times, god only knows what it will be like when the deadlines and start approaching.

On the plus side, the shop selling spare pens is pretty handy.

BOO! It's glorious!

I do however agree with you on the computer issue, it can be quite frustrating trawling 'round looking for one.

I spend a lot of the weekend there, it's like a graveyard.
