No it's just the first one. But the first two weeks are amalgamated with a Freshers fortnight.

Apparently there are other assessment tests throughout the term though.

Disliked Coventry, disliked the fact that I was nowhere near a city (growing up in a small town and dreaming of the city life played a big part in this) and also loved the Nottingham campus. I couldn't leave uni knowing I only went because "it was the better one", rather than the one I enjoyed the most and knew I'd have a better time at. End of the day, I'm aiming for a first and a first from either institution will net me an alright job.

I agree with your rationale, but do you have to boast about it in your sig? It's really pathetic, everyone on TSR knows that Warwick give out alot of offers and so getting an offer from them and being seemingly proud about it is a bit stupid.

That said, I hope everyone chose Unis they're actually going to enjoy rather than ones which have the best courses- it's far more important to have a good time than get a slightly higher prestige.

The signature is in no way to boast. It's actually because it gives me a chance to make the exact message to people that you've just said. I've been asked "Why on earth would you do that" countless times now (enough that I had to make a template reply post in a notepad doc on my pc) so I think it's good that people don't just go with the general theme of TSR choices (the higher in the league table the better, end of) and think about the effect it will have on their general university. I didn't include Warwick in my signature to boast in any shape or form, since as you said it's nothing short of easy to get an offer from Warwick. But as you requested, I'll remove it from my signature, since it's not really relevant now, as I'm officially a Fresher, and there's far more important things to be putting in my signature (when I come to think of them I'll get back to you).

But also, boasting is one thing, which I think should be kept inside someone's head, but since when was pride something that was considered stupid and pathetic?

Which subjects are people most looking forward to in the coming terms?
Galois Theory for the content, Representation Theory for the lecturer.
