Apparently I am very immature for my age

I would like to talk about this.

This morning, I started a thread in General University Discussion about word counts, because a few of my assignments have a high word account (e.g. 3000 words).

I was negatively repped for starting this thread. Perhaps I am immature for starting it, well I am 26 - shouldn't there be better things I could do? So I thought I'd start a thread to chat about this. If I am immature, then maybe you guys could help me out to cope with my immatureness in real life. For the record, an ex-housemate also commented once that I am immature for my age - but it's hard to take him seriously as he smokes pot everyday and doesn't get up until 1pm on most weekends. That's if you're lucky - I've actually seen him emerge for the first time out of his room as late as 4, not that it's any of my business...

Maybe not immature but there other words I can think to describe you :P
If it bothers you ask the friends that know you well that they think.

P.S. It just seems you can't have a bit of competitive banter about uni these days? Why are certain people so serious all the time, it's like they need a good kick up the arse and to be told to get over it.

Why dont you just ignore them? I love being immature as it means my friends my and I pend most of the day laughing, as anything can be turned into a joke. Sure we get weird looks, but when we all have tears streaming down our face it somehow seems less of a problem?
