    if that question was directed at me then teh answer is no! what could be better than maths? its the easiest subject ever! much more so than geography, and you dont even have to work that hard for it - the logical reasoning speaks for itself - something that'll never happen in geog - apart form some aspects of geog such as teh study of wind flow and water - i.e. fluid mechanics) - but that is maths in the end anyhow!

    so we are back where we started: Maths>geography

    I think you will find geog/geol was important a long time before maths.
    e.g. "what rock shall we use to build our houses"
    or: "what rocks shall we use to make effective tools"
    And none of the answers to these questions were involving x's y's or anything pythagorean - because he hadn't been born
    if you think rationally...geog/geol is the oldest subject ever studied.
    p.s. if you think maths will be easy, your in for a massive shock

    I hate at school when people say Geography is better than History. They're crazy i tell ya!!! all of em, MAD!! ARGGHHHHHH! WEEEEEEE!

    Yeah I hate all this stress, im almost wishing I didn't retake this module and did an A/s exam again instead, there is too much to learn!

    im not dissing maths cos i find there isnt enough of it in my course but comparing maths and geography is like comparing an apple and an orange. both go well together but are also good on their own.

    Maths is the worst!! geography at least is the least ignorant subject -knowing about the world around you!
