Hello

Me and some friends studying at Cardiff University are planning to visit the Aberystwyth "cousins"... Getting there by bus, so the arrival is at 15:25 and then leaving on the next day, 12:50 I think.

Apart from visiting the town, we would like to experience a typical "vibrant" night out in Aber. So here come the questions:
- what's more lively, friday or saturday?
- is it possible to spend the whole night around or everything closes down well before morning?
- if so.. which is the cheapest accomodation available?

I'm not too sure which is more lively, i'm tempted to say saturday, because the union has a pound party on the friday, so alot of people go to that, over town, but then again, saturday has theme nights. Either night will be good, really.
After the closing of the bay, the latest pub/club closes at about 3, i think. However there is a 24hr pub (Inn on the pier) if that takes your fancy.
Not sure about the cheapest accom., but there are hundreds of B&Bs in aber, so you could ring around

If you come on a Saturday night, drinks can be a little pricey. Friday night would probably be the best bet. Pier Pressure nightclub has a pound party running, and if you visit Inn on the Pier before 11.30pm and get a handstamp, you will only have to pay £3 to get into the club. Theres also a HUGE selection of pubs around the town to keep you busy if you get there early. When Pier Pressure closes at 3am, Inn on the Pier remains open, as its 24hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

In regards to accomodation, theres plenty of B&Bs around, but you may wanna search online and book in advance.

Quids in opens at 10pm? Maybe a bit late for pre drinks. Stay in until about then drinking. Make a cocktail - 30% Vodka, 15% Malibu, 15% Rum with 40% lemonade and orange juice. Its nice!
