A2 Graphics edexcel
hiya people
im doing this course this year and i have the exams coming up
does any one know of any good sites to help revise for all the units
im doing the materials, components and systems exam
and the design and society
also if any one has any good sites about POS displayes that would be useful
i have the edexcel book and i am reading it now but some useful websites would be good or if any of you may have past pappers please post
thanks sophie -
They couldn't have chosen a worse topic than "P-O-S display units". Boring, open-ended and generally silly. When will examiers learn?
Suprisingly in the GCSE book (we had no books for AS level so we're given the GCSE books - that's poor) so anyway, I have the GCSE book for the EDexcel Cource. There is, if I remember correctly, a good section on making the nets for boxes, which is perfect for the cheapo dsplay stands. If I find anything I'll give you a shout, but I havn't looked into this section in detail yet because of other commitments: Other exams, faffing, guitar, bands, friends etc.
Good luck. -

Hey Soph,
How'd it go? I did the same exams as you yesterday, except CAD/CAM instead of design/society - wasn't that mat, sys paper annoying!
And as for the design paper next tuesday, I'm stuck with finding POS stuff as well, though probably more useful finding different themes they could give us - probably something like: cosmetics, games, music, cd, eductation toy/book - something graphicy.
Oh yeah -
I've just posted me guide to the UNIT 6 exam:
