Hiya Amy!
Don't be nervous about your interview, I thought everyone there was so lovely and welcoming, they really put me at ease throughout the whole day which is one of the reasons that made me really love it there.
Best thing to do is think of some answers to the questions they will ask.
Questions they asked us:
Why do you want to be a Nurse?
What qualities do you have that would make you a good nurse?
What do you think a nurse does?
What experience have you had relating to care? (don't worry if you haven't had any, they don't see that as a bad thing)
What might you find difficult about the course?
What would you do if you weren't enjoying a placement?
What do you like to read?
Remember that the interviews are in groups so when it comes to each question you just go round in a circle each giving an answer to each question. It takes the pressure off because the interviewers aren't constantly watching you and you have time to think of what to say next lol! Just speak in the right places and you will be fine, I kept going a bit blank at certain times but they gave me a place so I'm sure you will get one too.
Maybe do a bit of maths revision when it comes to fractions, percentages and decimals and then conversions. And then if you're a bit anxious about writing just practise a tad for the small essay question in the english task. I though I had totally messed mine up on the day lol, I babbled!!!
I have always been told to remember that the fact that they have offered you an interview means that they like you and just want to make sure that you're not a psycho and that you know what you're letting yourself in for lol! I enjoyed the day
Thanks for the info about accommodation, I'll have a look
Can't remember if I asked before, are you applying for Feb or September?
