Quick Pharmacy Question

Hi =)

My friend wants to own a pharmacy in the future. She wants to know how long it will most likely take for this to happen. If she has all the finance etc, then how long from now (we're in Year 13) will it probably take for her to be her own boss?

She will have to do a 4 year pharmacy degree. Then she will have to do the 1 year preregistration program. (5 year total)

After that she will need to find somewhere the PCT will allow her to open the pharmacy. There are currently no restrictions on 100 hour pharmacies.

Thus, she should be looking at 6+ years from joining the Pharmacy Degree. It will benefit her to gain some experience first.
