I'm lucky, I have a bit of a mentor from online - and she actually cares about me but we've never met! And she's such a wise person - I literally tell her everything. She's the only adult I actually turn to when I have a hard time - and there's the element that I only contact her through emails and I often find writing far easier than speaking when it gets personally.

Yeh - although my friend can never understand how I can express myself in writing  but then again she's the reserved kind who doesn't express her personally feelings either verbally or written! I've learnt to read her moods and leave her alone when she's upset cus I know she simply doesn't like talking.

    Lol!

My friend does let on some stuff on the rare ocassion, nothing detailed. Not very many people know her very well cus she hides her moods - she doesn't with me and another one of our close friends cus we're a bit of a trio - but with others I'd often see her laughing and all bubbly then I'd ask: how are you? And she'd go: *shrug* - and ignore me. Lol she's not an easy person to read but I'm used to it by now - she's a lovely friend, great listener
