Durham Uni Interviews?

I am applying to study geography at durham and was wondering wether they are likely to interview candidates or do they look at grades, personal statement and references mainly?

From what I've heard Durham dont interview except for in some cases and on medicine courses. Although I'm not 100% sure.

I didn't have an interview last year, which i was so relieved about seeing as i live so far away :P
I don't think they do for geography. I was about to write that they did, then realised that my friend went for an interview but she did geology.
If they don't do an interview, they base it on grades and PS etc. So make sure your PS is good, that's basically your interview :smile:

The University recently adopted a policy that there would be no interviews except where they were required by law or other external regulation (i.e. medicine and Education degrees leading to qualified teacher status) or in exceptional circumstances for applicants without recent relevant experience of education, so no interviews for Geography unless you're a mature student who's been away from Education for a while.
