commuting to sheffield for uni

    just wondering if anyone commutes to sheffield from leeds for uni?

    if so did it effect the social side of uni eg freshers/meeting people etc.

    thanks for any replies

    If I to Hallam then simply train from Barnsley, simple as that Just about 15 minutes and there you go

    guessing it would be about 30/40 mins to sheffield from leeds then?

    i commuted last year but only a 20min train ride, it does affect the social aspect a little mainly because its more expensive to get a taxi back etc but if u can stay in sheff over night then im sure u'll be fine, i live there now and find it much better.
