Optometry is very competitive, especially at Cardiff.

I wouldn't suggest this but good luck anyway.

I have AAAB predictions but the B is in Biology.

Maths & 3 Sciences A-level.

really i thought it would be an easy choice....
and thats not baad most only require 2 sciences at A grade, so it shouldnt be be a problem

yh i sent my application on the 24th. Dont expect to hear anythin till november though, maybe just an acknowledgment or somethin...I have applied to Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield and Dundee. Im a reapplicant btw....

I really don't see the point in this. Why apply for a course you're definitely not going to take up? If you get an offer you're potentially taking up someone else's place - someone who really did want to do optometry.

I dont know really, i just thought it would be a waste of an option if i didnt pick a 5th one and i liked the uni so i thought why not. But apparently Optemetry is really competitive too, so i doubt i'll get an offer anyway

It is but if you have good grades, etc then they might give you an offer instead of somebody else so it will be like...you are taking up their offer.

You should have applied for something random like hair and beauty if you weren't going to take the option.

haha that wouldve been a great idea! i can imagine the interview for that "Ive always been interested and hair and beauty from a young age...."
