Thanks for the pics

If I get an offer I'll attend a visit day to have a look around. I'm also considering going up North for a messy weekend for my 18th, I was thinking Newcastle but might make it Leeds

I've just applied last Monday to Leeds to do a Children's Nursing degree. I absolutely love the university and really hope I get an offer!

I sent it off on the 8th, reply was on the 19th. I've got acknowledgements from Bristol, York, St Andrews. Nothing from Oxford, not that I'm entirely surprised with their admissions procedure generally taking place much earlier.

Both pics are Leeds uni, and you are right, the building in the background of the first pic is the entrance to the union. Bottom pic is the business school I think.

Does anyone at the uni/who has been given an offer know whether Leed (and specifically the school of modern languages) does post-application, department-orientated Open Days? I've already visited but I wouldn't mind going up again, especially if it means I can hear more about the department and meet some more people who are aiming for Leeds in 2010.

from what i can make out, i think you have to apply to go and visit again.

My college is so annoying! I sent my UCAS to them 2 weeks ago, paid and everything, and my references still haven't been done so it won't get sent off before half term! I'm so annoyed, I really want to see if Leeds accept/reject me.

I know my college is rubbish, they haven't helped us at all with UCAS and I sent my app off last Monday and my tutor hasn't done a reference yet : (. I wanna know whether Leeds want me!
