PGCE with Psychology degree?

I am thinking of taking a Psychology degree next year and may want to do a PGCE afterwards. Would I still have a good chance of getting into a PGCE Primary or PGCE Middle School years one? I have seen a middle school years one at Bath specialising in English that states you can do it if you have the right A Levels (I have English Literature at grade B and History at grade C) and may not need 50% of a degree in English. Would I have a good chance of getting in with a Psychology degree??

A lot of people with a psychology degree enter into primary school teaching. You're correct in stating you can still do a Secondary PGCE even if 50% of your degree is not relevant. Don't forget you can do Subject Enhancement Courses at a lot of universities if your degree is not relevant, unis offer this in Maths, English, Science not sure about the others? I have a Psychology degree I am applying for a Social Science PGCE.

Oh that is good, if I wanted to do teaching I would want to specialise in English for middle school teaching or do primary school teaching

Exeter for Primary PGCE specialising in English would accept English A Level but Bath for the middle school years would prefer a year of higher education in English does this include the subject enhancement courses?

Both entry requirements state degree must be relevant:

For Exeter:

Bath:

I'd say query with the universities direct. These are the subject enhancement courses I was talking about:

Just found this post:

A Psychology graduate got on the Primary PGCE Exeter English course...so shouldn't be a problem
I'm on a primary PGCE at the moment after having done a psychology degree. It's important to make sure you have some experience in schools. I then wrote about essay writing, data analysis and the fact that the degree is scientific when it came to the PS
