    Re: Hardest A-levels
Languages are the hardest A levels I do, German definitely being harder than French.

EDIT: I take it back. French is fine, it's German that's a fiendishly difficult subject. It's the grammar. D:

why? shouldn't you take subjects you would rather do?

EDIT: Art. If you can't paint or draw then it's a bitch. I'm being deadly serious...

    Computing- (not ICT).

Edit: I also did biology and chemistry and I found computing to be the most difficult. Everyone makes a bigger deal about A level chemistry than is necessary, put a reasonable amount of time in, read the books and it's a doddle. Biology was my easiest to revise for; I mean the content and understanding of it is easy but they always ask dodgey questions in the exams, I honestly came out of the exam not knowing how I'd done.

it depends really on you as some people find some subjects harder than others and its different from person to person

:ditto: on both points. Further Maths was my hardest A Level. It will vary from person to person though. Some may find FM easy :dontknow:

Choose your subjects on what you're interested in. You're more likely to do better in subjects that you have an interest in finding more about rather than in subjects in which you have little interest.

History's my hardest subject, but I also like it the least (it was always the subject I intended to drop), my others aren't easy, but they're alright.

    Latin.

    Oh. Dear. God.

Latin. And there's so much work, and it's all so hard, and it eats up all my free time and then my teacher shouts at me and tells me I'm a failure and a time-waster and it's so bloody difficult and aaargh and...

For me would be art or languages but really depend on the person, english would be quite intense as well, sciences and maths I find quite easy.....

No single hardest, but the combination below might be it:

Try one Art + Maths + Science; my GCSE Physics teacher did that, he's crazy.

I thought maths was supposed to be relatively easy? In workload, at least?
