Re: Hardest A-levelsPhilosophy is very hard, because it soo self contradictory and you need to know everything! Literally, you can not pass a Philosophy exam by just blagging your way through, it extreeeemly difficult, but if youre like proper into Philosophy from a young age you may find it easy but for people who have not had in depth knowledge or have studied the subject , it is very hard! It will literally drive you craaaaazy lol(Original post by Ninja Student)

Re: Hardest A-levelsI don't know much about Philosophy, but the pass rates, and what your tell me is putting me off it... My other subjects are English Literature, History and Economics... Re: Hardest A-levelsI would say pick a subject which you are predicted an 'A' at, at GCSE level ( that's if you are in year 11 apologies if you are not) because if you can achieve an A at GCSE with that subject you are likely to do very well at A level as you are basically using the same skills, in my opinion that is(Original post by Ninja Student)

or Alternatively think of what subjects interest you, But if you have your heart set on Philosophy, then go for it, it's a wonderful and enriching subject and if you put lots of hard work and dedication into the subject you are bound to do brilliantly
!
Hope this help

Re: Hardest A-levels
Hey dude!
The hardest A-levels to do from an academic prospective would be as follows:
Sciences/Maths:- Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Oh what the he*k Biology too!
^ ^ These are the harder subjects when it comes to Sciences
Arts/Humanities:- Economics, Government and Politics, Psychology
But sugar look, you should be doing A-levels you enjoy! You can do the hardest A-levels known to man but your not guaranteed to do well in them.
Do what you love! What interests you! Don't forget to live your dreams! Life is way too short!
