reference letters private

For an international applicant, the UCAS system of typing in my own reference seems bizarre. Similarly, my teachers are uncomfortable with me seeing their reference letters. Is there a way for them to upload their reference letters without me being able to see them? Thanks!

oh for God's sake, I don't see the big fuss!
It isn't like you'll edit it.
Just tell them you don't care and that you just want to send the UCAS stuff and get it done.

well, what if my teacher likes her privacy, and I don't want to intrude? And I'm pretty sure her reference is quite good, so I don't want to change it either.

not for users applying as individuals rather than through an establishment.
i applied as an individual, logged on to ucas in front of my teacher who then copied and pasted reference in. she had actually chosen to show it to me before, but that's neither here nor there.
