Im completing an online application for something and the deadline is as follows:
"Applications to be received by midnight October 7th"
"The deadline for applications is midnight on Wednesday October 7th"
Does that mean midnight today or tommorow?
Isn't it pretty obvious?
1 second before midnight if you want to be picky.
it's the next day because it's an AM. (12.00am)
If it's a job it isn't going to look impressive if you send it 1 second before it's due in.
Midnight comes in the evening so in that case it is Wednesday evening.
Technically it's the morning, so the morning of Wednesday, not the evening, but I don't know what they take it to mean.
Just do it tonight to be safe.
Its definitely Wednesday then? Obv not going to hand it in 1 second before , just want as much time as possible to refine my application. Can never be too sure with these things, I did initially think it was Wednesday but then I got paranoid.
