Formula Student information needed

For anyone who goes to a university currently participating or even better someone on one of the teams.

I've been put in charge of finding out as much as possible to try and get our uni into the competition.

Any help like what equiptment is needed, how much time it will take up and what sort of level of engineering knowledge is needed would be highly appreciated.

Another thing we need to know is how it's funded. Is anything provided to you by the organisers? Does your university give you any money to work from? Roughly how much does the finished racer cost?

I've got a meeting on saturday about joining the Loughborough team, I'll let you know if I find out anything useful, although I doubt I'd be able to answer most of your questions until the end of the year. Have you had a good read through the formula student website? Have a look at some of the teams websites as well;
