I think UKCAT = Luck! I have an above average IQ, very hardworking and revised for it yet got only 627.5! My cousin (for dentistry) didn't study or prepare and is not so hard working or clever yet she got 677! Nothin to do with laziness I assure you!

Pearson Vue have just sent me an email saying how a question in the Verbal Reasoning section has just been removed!
6.5% of 26000 candidates, as not all candidates took this crappy question, as obviously they are randomly generated

but in VR i went from

740 -----------------> 750

Apparently something like this happened a few years ago with the AR, so Pearson Vue just scrapped the AR scores and the average was taken from the other three. I wish to Christ they would just do away with this year's VR section. Everyone I've talked to seemed unhappy with it, something must have been a bit dodge.

And on a selfish note, taking out VR would DRASTICALLY improve my unfortunately slim chances of getting into King's.

C'mon Person Vue, do the right thing!!

Just because there may have been some dodgy questions, it's unfair to award marks in the assumption that these questions would be otherwise answered correctly.

They don't assume it was answered correctly. They just remove the dodgy question completely and give a mark based on the candidate's responses to the non-dodgy questions.
