Default Phantom of the Opera 2 - True Love Never Dies

Sounds like an epic fail, but i love Phantom so much i'm so going to see it!
I'm prepared for lulz, especially after reading the plot....

“LOVE NEVER DIES” continues the story of ‘The Phantom’, who has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of Coney Island, far across the Atlantic. Set 10 years after the mysterious disappearance of ‘The Phantom’ from Paris, this show is a rollercoaster ride of obsession and intrigue...in which music and memory can play cruel tricks...and ‘The Phantom’ sets out to prove that, indeed, “LOVE NEVER DIES”.

They have started selling tickets... http://www.loveneverdies.com/

I looooove Phantom of the Opera. I'm going to see it anyway even if it's not as good as the first.

I'm really not a fan of the original show, but Ramin Karimloo (awesome) + Summer Strallen as Meg, will be enough to get me to the Adelphi at some point next year.

After seeing Ramin in the preview of the sequel I might just go and see it (1st one obviously) on my trip down to London next week, he seems amazing and would be great to catch him while I can in this before moving on to the next.
I think it will be a great success but perhaps not capture the essence of the original, who knows???
Ive only seen the 1st one in Las Vegas as few years ago, cannot quite remember if Sierra (new Christine) was in it the night I saw. ALW has a fantastic eye for his casts it seems so Im sure they will all be fantastic and with Phantom being his little gem Im sure he will not disappoint and I will definitely be going.
Here's to 2010!!!

I've booked for first preview - if nothing else but for the "I was there" type bragging rights! Seeing Phantom for a second time in a couple of weeks too.

Got tickets to the first ever performance with my boyfriend I'm looking forward to it, I wasn't too keen to begin with, but I think the story actually makes sense and it has the potential of being one of the best musicals ever written.

Can't wait.

PS) It's called Love Never Dies not true love :P

Same here, except with my girlfriend She's mad over Phantom so we are going along to it's first preview and seeing Phantom on the matinee to do the whole story in one day. Need to get the tissues/chocolates in as I'm sure she'll be needing both by the end of that day!

Ramin is the best I've or heard in my opinion and so is Gina Beck, currently in the role of Christine in London, catch them together while you can.
My question is, why not Gina for Love Never Dies? I thought Sierra would have been better placed in the broadway production after just appearing in The Little Mermaid there and gaining a fanbase.

I believe there is a plan afoot for Ramin & Sierra to transfer when the show debuts in Broadway too, leaving a new cast to take over London.

Of course, excellent point, it doesn't open over there until later in the year does it? I think I better get planning my trip down for next year to see them both before they do move on.

I LOVE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
And if you watch the video ALW released of one of the songs, Love never does actually sounds really really good!
