What should I create a website on for University?

I am a student at Teesside University, and I need to create a website based on a news story, or topic. But I don't know what topic I should do, and how to go about presenting it on a website. Could someone please give me some suggestions as to what topics I could cover. I live in Middlesbrough if that helps.

Also, my team need a name, so if anyone knows a good team name, also tell me what your ideas are for that xx

Do some really taboo story, and voice unconformist and outright crazy ideas, but back them up with good arguments.

Um...I'd say something like weather Katie Price lied about getting raped. Idk. Just the first thing that came into my head.
