i'm confused, what ones are cashed in and what are you taking to A2?
aimz08
Is it ok if I put my AS grades AAD (Psych, Gen Std, Critical Thi- CT taken early)

But leave Bio and chemistry as pending, uncashed - also taking psych to A2

if chem and bio have been uncashed by your school, then you have to put them down. If not then you don't although, normally a school cashes all subject ASs or none.

So if you declare those, and you're AS chem and bio are cashed, you're obliged to put them down.

My school is odd, doesnt cash in grades that are going to be resat.

So my chem and bio are not cashed in as I'm resitting modules. But psychology is as I have an A and am not resitting.

What?! Now I'm confused? I asked my teachers if my bio/chem were cashed in, they said no!

On your results certificate, does it tell you your overall AS grade?

For example-

(AQA) Advanced Sub
Chemisty - A(279/300)
Unit 1 Foundation Chem- A(93/100) JAN 09
Unit 2 Chemistry in Action- A(140/140) JUN 09
Unit 3T Investigative and Skills Assesment B(46/60) JUN 09

(AQA) Advanced Sub
Biology -A(292/300)
Unit 1 Biology and Disease A(92/100) JAN 09
Unit 2 Variety of living organisms A(140/140) JUN 09
Unit 3T Investigative and Skills Assessment A(60/60) JUN 09

Is that your school's policy? ie. to not cash in grades that are going to be resat? If it is, then you have no choice but to leave chem and bio as pending do you?

I thought all schools either cashed in all of them or none

Yes it does

Yes it does

Then they have been cashed.

I am 1000000000000000000000000000000000% sure of that.

Your subject/teachers like mine, probably don't even know what 'cashed' means.

YEAAHHH COV! stinks.

You don't have to declare them if you don't want to, but then you can't declare ANY of your grades. It's either all or none I'm afraid.

I think that's correct. If you declare an A at AS, you must declare them all.

(What school are ye from?)

I'll pm you dont really want the whole of tsr to knwo :P

You have to put down all your grades that have been cashed in (given an overall grade). In your case you will have to declare your grade for Biology and Chem that you got last year '09 and then enter Biology and Chemistry again as pending for '10.
