Hi, Quite a few weeks ago, I happened to be Drug Searched whilst at a train station, I was of course clear! But.... I have now been asked if I want to do some -paid- filming for the police.
I went to a briefing this afternoon and basically we have to do the following:
Enter a pre chosen store in a major retail space
Shopflift a pre determined item
Be caught by store security
Be put in stores detention room/interviewed by store detecives
Police Called
Be arrested by police (handcuffed behind back)
Esorted back through store and placed in a cage in a police van.
This is the bit I don't understand... As they are filming in 5 other people as well as me, they need the police van for them. We have been told that we will be transferred to a (Security Van - with indvidual compartment/cells), whilst they are filming the other people.
We have also been told that the police handcuffs will be removed and the escort companies applied.
Once the filming in the stores has finished the Security Van will drive us to the police station, when we will be booked in, searched, put in a cell, interviewed and cautioned.
However I don't understand why they won't let us just walk to the police station as it is a walkable distance.
The pay is a good amount for a mornings filming.
Do you think I should accept this, would you do it? Im just worried about being handcuffed, will it hurt. Do you think the cell doors will be locked etc..
