Funeral outfit

Don't want to go into it but i need an outfit for a funeral.
I own nothing dark.
No wise cracks please, really not in the mood.
If anyone could post some links to what they think should be worn to a funeral that would be great.

I wore a black, knee length dress to the last funeral I went to, with black heels and a grey shrug. It was very low v neck at the front so I wore a purple vest top underneath as purple was her favourite colour.
The last funeral I went to I wore a navy suit, my sister wore burgundy dress that went below the knee (basically not too much flesh on show), and as it was winter we wore long coats.

Probably not a great deal of help but all the best anyway.
It depends on what has been specified...

Lots of families request no black if it is a young person's funeral nowadays. Smart/casual is the way to go - black jacket and trousers, non-revealing, colourful, smart-ish top... Sometimes there's a theme with the colour, to coordinate with the flowers or something.

It depends on what the family have specified (some people choose not to have people wearing black to the funeral).
If nothing has been specified then wear something in a dark colour, not too fashionable & not showing too much flesh.
