In season 1 I liked the ep where the Brit kids were sent to a religious Christian family in US.
Might give season 2 a chance if i can be bothered

Okay extreme example, but it makes the point clear. I'm not turning it into a religious debate but I'm bringing up the issues that surround one of the families I've seen in the program, which is far more related to liberties and freedom of thought/indoctrinating and brainwashing people.
Obviously I am not saying that.
I am just saying to keep the topic light and free from argument, people just want to say if they enjoyed the show and why.
No religion no liberty no philosophy and no questioning of other peoples beliefs have to be involved.
Thats all I'm saying.

Not meaning something and not saying things are different things unless you think all of language is entirely subjective.

Those issues surrounded the program as it tends to be based on culture shocks surrounded by different religions liberties and philosophies.

And it just so happens that that post was taken down as well?
More likely it was for several things and only one post received a specific warning from how the system works, but it was for several posts.
Any further replies to this I'll just pm you or advise you talk to the mods.

Yay. It was an extremely pleasant warning, though. Very nice comment. I was told politely to cool my beans. I wonder if 'there's too much love' reported me. Hypocrite. Anyway, I shall now proceed to try and get back on topic.

When is the next episode.

I swear, it really grinds my gears (titter titter) that this sort of programme seems so popular. It's almost as though we're determined to make ourselves look like morally bankrupt reprobates. These kids aren't the norm, and they all (as we saw in this ep) have some serious issues going on in their heads. That said, there is a clamorous minority in this country (as in all others) that, to be perfectly frank, deserve a bullet to the temple.
One good thing that came out of this episode in particular is that everyone reached a happy medium. The kids thought "hmm...maybe I should be nicer"...the 'mother' thought "hmm...I guess I'm a bit bigoted".
These parents weren't raising their kids well, though. The 'father' was aggressive and domineering (it's funny 'cause he said he wanted to be a good dad to make up for his own ¬_¬), and I don't agree with those weekly bedroom searches, nor forcing religion. If they want to go to church, that's great...religion makes lots of people happy, good for them, but under no circumstances should it be mandate. (On that note...what was with that psychadelic leaping around stage at his church...dodgy stuff, if you ask me).
Sometimes I think God was these parents' best invention..."you have to tidy your room because we're in charge of you, and God's in charge of us...ipso facto, God wants you to tidy your room".
grr.

I've seen a couple of episodes of this show and just watched the India one with the ugly ginger girl and the camp guy with the diamond earring.

I thought it was hilariously ironic that the boy chose to have a tattoo reading "wisdom" in Hindi.

The show annoys me though because the British kids go out there with the attitude that they are brilliant because they act like *****.

How many times did the girl mention she smoked loads of weed? Wow. you're cool.

And when the boy told the story about getting "really drunk" (4 WKDs was it?) and then crashing his mum's car - I'm 95% this story was a lie.

I think it was something she felt so proud of that she had to share it so many times

urgh, just watched the episode where the two kids are sent to India - I don't normally watch the show, but the English boy was really odious - you rarely see someone with such an ugly character, his parents must have been so ashamed when they watched that programme, especially when he just walked out on the charity work he was supposed to be doing in the slums. All he had to do was hold a bag, and he genuinely didn't seem to see how he was in the wrong when he walked off, just saying 'what benefit is it to me?'. What is he, some kind of unfeeling monster? How can he have been so unaffected by the poverty that surrounded him? What a lazy, ugly repugnant individual. Makes me ashamed to be british.
