name:Rachel course:International Relations other choices:Birmingham, Loughborough, Leeds, Aston Predicted grades: College are being slow and havn't told me! think its AAB though or ABB
Generally the universities that like to consider themselves more 'inclusive' (ie Leicester) wait until closer to the deadline so that those at state schools, who tend to apply later, have an equal chance.
They won't wait until after xmas but possibly until into November. Science students at ANY uni tend to get offers before arts students with the exception of interview courses (med, vet, dent) and the worst university for leaving people hanging is Durham.
Leicester had better give me a quick offer - being post A Level and this being undoubtedly my first choice, the moment I get one from them TOUCH WOOD I will cancel my other choices and accept! So nice not to have to wait until August
