Ideas for Dressing Up Party... Famous Women in History??

Okay, so all in the title really. My friend's having a party at his university where everyone dresses up as something to do with what they're studying, and although I'm not actually at university yet, I'm going along. And I'll be studying History next year. Basically, I've got no idea what/who to go as. I'm thinking Pocohontas, Cleopatra maybe? Marie Antoinette would be kinda cool but way too difficult to do, I think.

So yeah, ideas please! My meagre rep available for the best one, of course.

(Oh, wasn't sure exactly where to put this thread, so I though GD should be fine... I dunno)

Florence Nightingale, easy, dress up as an old wartime nurse.

Hhhmmm, could do, could do...

I'm quite liking Anne Frank as well actually, although I dunno how I'd make it obvious enough who I'm s'posed to be...

Mother Teresa. Wear a robe and then put a towel over your head with a big cross.

Is it wrong that I have no idea who Myra Hindley is? :s-smilie:

Cleopatra? Marilyn Monroe? :P

umm... Queen Victoria!!?

Dohhh just re-read your post and you've beaten me to it with Cleopatra! Sorry!
Jackie O or Joan of Arc (you could use tin foil :groovy:) would be quite cool, I reckon.
Or you could dress up as Barbara Castle just to avoid the slightly obvious Thatcher.
