Question The written work for a PPEist applicant

Good evening everyone !

As a oversea student, I am a bit lost in what the Uni ask.

I have applied to several Uni to follow the PPE course, notably in Oxford. I chose open application, and they give me "St Edmund Hall".
The college sent me a email, saying that all students have to pass on an essay. But then, on the website, they only talk about TSA.
So my question is: "Is the TSA the written work, or do I have to do both the written work and the TSA?"

I am sorry if the question has already been asked, but I reckon this website is just so big, and I can't find my way out !

Thanks !

Have a great night !

You don't have to submit written work for PPE but you must take the TSA test on the 4th November (you should have registered for it already).

It's possible that international applicants have to submit written work. The email that the OP received seems to suggest though anyway.

OP, the best thing to do is probably to phone the college tomorrow and ask.

Hum, I have got some information now. I guess I don't have to do a written work, my beg. But I still have to pass the TSA.
So as an international student, I won't be able to sit it at school, I need to go in a special place. So am I supposed to inform Oxford or should I only make contact with this place ?

Well, anyway, thank you all !

I'm an international student too -- there are a few locations that sit the TSA in the States, but you better contact them quickly as when I first contacted them some were close to being full (this was a couple months ago).

You can have your school college counselor or someone contact Cambridge Assessment and arrange to have the test taken at your school, but you better hurry (the test is on November 4th).

When you sign up you specify which college, so wherever you take it should get it to Oxford without you worrying about it or contacting Oxford.
