Can anyone check to see whether the answer is correct?

2(x^2 -2) > 7x
2x^2 -4 > 7x
2x^2 -7x-4 > 0
(2x+1)(x-4) = 0
½ 0r 4 = x

Thanks

It's an inequality so x cannot equal 1/2 or 4. You can look on the graph of the inequality and you should see that the part of the graph that is above zero satisfies the inequality when x is greater than 4 and less than 1/2

so x > 4 or when x < 1/2
