The Student Room Group
What is your clubbing taste? Mainstream? Glitzy? Drum and bass? Indie? Dubstep?

Mainstream..I was talking really about general.
Okay. I'll just list/recommend you some student nights in town.

Whatever people tell you about Moonlighting (off Old Compton Street), it's a hole, but loads of students go there on a Monday so it's a more or less respectable hole. It's £1 to get in with student ID, and drinks are £1.50, but don't go any other day. I've never been in Tiger Tiger (Haymarket) but that's also popular on a Monday. There's also something new and studenty at Café de Paris (Coventry Street) that day. Tuesdays is Pacha (Victoria) and Milkshake at Ministry (Elephant and Castle) but I rarely go to either because of early lectures on a Wednesday.

Wednesdays, everyone goes to the Roxy (off Oxford Street) which plays a lot of cheese etc. £3 to get in with student ID. Thursdays is Onanon (Piccadilly Circus) or **** Me at SeOne (London Bridge). Haven't been to either. Fridays is Sports Café (opposite Tiger Tiger) iirc. Then you join the main crowd at the weekend.

Non-studenty clubs that I really like include:

Koko (Camden High Street) Mostly indie, some house.
Proud (Camden Market) Big variety but great atmosphere.
Fabric (Farringdon) No explanation needed.
Penthouse (Leicester Square) Pseudo-upmarket. I like it because it isn't upmarket at all, it just looks it.
Matter (O2) Same as Fabric just bigger and further away.
Scala (King's Cross) Now a gig venue really but has some good club nights.

I miss Turnmills and The End. I've heard excellent things about Punk (Soho Square) but I haven't got round to going.
Casinos? eh?

Why would you want to go to one? no offence but you're only 15. Not old enough to gamble, so I doubt they would let you in.
