So scared about this MMI thing though.
ALso, the form sent says to put your last 5 wrk exp / vol work down.
Thing is, I have 4, but they are pretty lengthy, hope i have enough. I always thought it was quality!

Half the Medicine applicants, from my college, have no work experience what-so-ever.

I'd prefer not to get one right now to be honest. An interview anytime after the middle of November will be brilliant.

Ah St. Georges .... I was a student there some years back, I switched course/ uni, medicine turned out not to be my cup of tea, I really did like St. Georges though.... made it quite tough to leave.

Out of curiosity, when did you submit your UCAS?

I think the MMI is a great idea. I mean if you mess up one you can forget about it and move on.

What's being assesed in the interview is:

* A demonstrable interest in medicine - motivation and commitment
* Communication skills
* Work experience and recognition of the importance of research
* Personal attitudes and attributes
* Empathy and sensitivity
* Ability to make decisions
* Ability to contribute as a member of a team
* Extracurricular interests and skills
* What would you bring to St George’s?

Hmmm I am not worried right now, though I would much rather have it now and get it out of the way than having to keep thinking if I got it yet?

Yeah, I'll look out for you. What time is your interview?

Try not to get worked up about the revamped interviewing style. I think UEA do something similar where you go around different stations. Just prepare in the same way as you would for a standard interview. Don't bother trying to rehearse anything - just go in as yourself!

As for the wex, don't worry about that. Just fill in what you've done and I'm sure that will suffice.

MMI is apparently the best indicator of who will be a good physician. But you might have to give a presentation? wtf!
