It doesn't seem to be following the pattern of first-come-first-serve (although I could be wrong ) - I think there's at least one person on here who sent theirs only a few days before the 15th. But mine was off by the 23rd.

First off, don't worry because everything can be sorted . Give them a call ASAP but if you have been called for interview your pack will be in post.

I'm not sure why we're talking in two different threads XD. But I'm off to a guitar lessons now

Try not to get worked up about the revamped interviewing style. I think UEA do something similar where you go around different stations. Just prepare in the same way as you would for a standard interview. Don't bother trying to rehearse anything - just go in as yourself!

As for the wex, don't worry about that. Just fill in what you've done and I'm sure that will suffice.

If I can help in any other way, just send me a message and I'll get back to you.

Thanks ;]
its on the 10th novemeber at 3pm!
What do they do with the form asking about your work experience, do they contact them?

If its the same as last year, then they haven't seen your personal statement. They ask standard q's like Work Exp etc...

With the interview pack, they included a form asking about contact details at work exp / vol places.
I was just wondering what they do with them.
THey ask them questions then?

Hmm ok. I take it they contact them then.
Im just confused who to put down for my referee, the person who organised it and signed my confirmation of my doing work exp there, or the person who "supervised" me, but proabably doesnt remember me.

OK I just got of the phone to them.

Interviews are held between November and February (as it states on their website)

However, everyone is sent an email acknowledging their application, which I haven't received.

So I emailed them to see if they have received my application.

Everyone that meets the academic requirements is interviewed. I think the best indication of that is page 71 of their prospectus.

So I'll wait and see what she replies with.

So after you're interviewed...how long does it take to hear if you have been successful or not?

Does anybody know?

One or two weeks??

That's how quick the responses where for last years general medical applicants. I am not sure about georgies in specific but I would say that.
