Yeah Asgsoft was right I think SGUL try to let you know within two weeks. I think when I applied they said 10 working days but I think I found out within about only 6 days. For those placed on the waiting list they tend not to find out the final decision to about May time.

eg. Kings apparantly like ethical people...or so I hear

i sent my app off on the 9th of october, but heard nothing since from sgul. bit paranoid but is it worth emailing them and askign whether they have recieved my application yet?

its a low ratio since they interview lots of people. So I guess you need to do amazing in the interview :|

When I was at the open day talk, the woman was talking about some figures and I was at the back working out the ratios. She claimed it's about 1:8 at the first stage, then 1:4 at the interview stage. At the end I quizzed her about it because I thought it was weird they knock out 50% of applicants before interview, when they claim to interview everyone. She then laughed and admitted she'd got her figures wrong . I'd say it's more 1:8. But then they make roughly 2 offers for one place, so it could be closer to 1:5 .

The assumption that SGUL are interviewing as they recieved UCAS applications is incorrect. In my school, everyone's application was sent off at the same time yet some students have interviews and some have heard nothing. I think it's random? Or they're picking a certain way that we don't know about...? Or they hate half of my school

Well i guess it is infact totally random.

Anyway this forum makes me panic. I sent my application on the 15th (last day, i know!) Only got an acknowledgement letter up till now and its freaky how people have started receiving interview calls.

hahaha i got my acknowledgement letter this morning.... after nagging the woman for the last week about it.....

i think its okay relli, not as bad as it sound but u have to relax
Its a lot of everything i guess
and dont rush to answer questions u can take ur time make sure ur sayn the right ans. Its not that bad
