MICROBIOLOGY question
hiya...we are doing an introductory microbiology course and during our labwork, we were using both loop and straight wires for inoculation.
Straight wire is used for comparison of nutritional requirements and loop wire for streak plating for example. What is the difference between the effects of the loop and straight wire in the experiments? why use them accordingly depending on the aim of the experiment not just randomly.
