Can I have genuine reasons why people don't like this University.

The facilities are good, course is substantial and far better than some Universities I have seen. The accomodation is good for what you pay.

Lets us know your feelings

I never even knew such an institution existed.

It is the laughing stock of our town, srsly. People at my sixth-form (which, incidentally, is pretty crap) joke that getting rubbish grades is equivalent to "getting into Bolton".

I live pretty near Bolton and I've not heard great things about it, my best friend went for a product design day held there and apparently it wasn't the greatest of institutions. But if you're happy with it, ignore what everyone else says

Don't know. It's just stuck with that reputation, and I doubt it'd ever shake it off whether it was a good university or not.

In my honest opinion. It's strength is the Games and Creative Technologies department, their Special FX courses and Games Courses seem to have better facilities than some of the more established insititutions

As Bolton only got its University status recently a lot of the facilites are very modern and up to date unlike some Universities, which helps it in the technology subjects

For starters, anyone who willingly picks bolton out of every other location in england to spend 4 years is probably that stupid that bolton uni is the correct choice for them

Don't pack any jeans, take your trackies and your nike TN's or expect to get shot

And then the reputation is horrible of the uni, much better available. It's the laughing stock of the UK imo.
