No, I didn't watch it but I will now. Fair and Lovely indeed. Do people still use that crap?

I'm very happy with my skin colour.
Some people are just so insecure.

I'm happy with my skin colour
although i wouldn't mind using those creams if they do actually make your skin tone more even, rather than lightening it..
What's with all the recent shows about racism??
Sh*t is getting boring.

And i'm not 'asian' i'm persian. But I love my complexion.

But I think asians should use this as they're definitely not the most attractive of people.

Are you retarded? did your mum drop you when you were a kid?

How on EARTH is a show about making skin fairer racist? it's like a show about whites tanning being racist

& you are "asian" you just aren't desi or southern asian who do tend to have the darker skin than you pearly white persian/arabs.

It's the equivalent of white people who want to always be tanned. People should be happy with their skin colour and not try and take it to extremes, there was a pic somewhere of a jamaican woman who tried to get white and it really messed up her skin.
Was that the one where some guy was obsessed with the fact he was short and he felt he couldn't fit in with "british society" so he considered getting those horrible leg implants to make him about 2cm taller?

Afghans and pakistanis are the worst when it comes to this.

I overheard a conversation once between two hijabis, it went like:
"wow you have the most beautiful blue eye, my cousin pakistan has too, I wished I did"
"yeah, you have nice light skin though"
"I know, I try to stay out of the sun, to help"

Their attitude makes me cringe. No wonder the British were so easily able to divide and conquer that whole region.

no, it's simple

everyone wants to improve

so whites wanna be tanned, fat wanna slim down etc ...

for asians, fair is/was seen as aspirational

However, I wouldn't mind evening out the skin tone on my face but that doesn't mean making it lighter lol.

Well alright then, shows of a 'racial nature' which provoke antagonism.
