Any gay international students here? Have you experienced a lot of homophobia? I'm gay and I'm starting uni next year and was just wondering if there is a lot of homophobia going around especially from other international students who come from countries where homosexuality is not accepted(eg: african countries, muslim majority countries etc).

I'm heading to London next year, and I'm pretty confident all will be good. I have some friends over here who have never had any issues. Also, considering how my friends and I have experienced little to none in Dublin, I'm sure London will be rather easy.

There are racists/homophobes in all groups; my best friends are Muslim ^_^ and they're not homophobic at all.

Well, I have accepted Glasgow's offer firmly. I do not have any British insurance because my insurance is Berlin (Free University of Berlin).
