Double-blind method

I'm currently evaluating a journal article on social comparisson/self discrepancy/thin ideal; the participants were pre-selected but then randomly assigned to groups.

The experimenter was blind to participants 'self discrepant' status (how they critique themselves, self esteem, etc).

Do you think this would pass as being a double-blind method?
