On their own advice they advised you to put an earlier date, and coincidentally that earlier date corresponded nicely with what it needed to, so that was all good.

However, they had no qualms about telling you to put an earlier date, so it is a little late now to suddenly start being pedantic! I would suggest talking to a manager in that office and tell them that you can verify what your last day of attendance was, and if they still insist on taking the later date, then advise them that their own staff are telling people to write down earlier final dates, I doubt they will be quite so keen to try to enforce it then.

I think this woman was just exerting her power, your course leader sounds more informed, and the manager will know this also.

You need to remember that they can charge you fees anyway. It would have been included in the documentation when you signed up to the course.

Ahhhhhhhhh yeah I hadn't thought of it like that, play them at their own game! I mean it can't be that big a deal if the woman told me to put an earlier date in the first place!!

I hope I don't get charged, not really that bad if they did cause it would only be like a grand and something but still... I'm probably worrying over nothing as usual lol

Well exactly, as you say it cant be that big a deal when they offered you to do the earlier date thingy, so its not a bad card to play!

you should not have dropped out that was a big mistake could you could have transferred next year, several people I know dropped out of uni and are now flipping burgers at mcdonalds for a living, do you want to work at mcdonalds or be on the dole
