Default AS-Level over two years.

I took a Biology module in January 2009, after which I dropped the subject (I was doing five AS-levels). If I were to take the second module in June 2010, how will that work out and be viewed? I mean, would that be 'looked-down' on, or classed as an AS resit of some kind, even though I haven't resat anything?

what syllabus? old specs AQA had coursework and new specs have ISA style coursework things so there's more to it than just an exam?

It's Edexcel's new SNAB syllabus, when I took the first exam, in January 2009, it was the first time that exam had ever been taken. So it was the new spec.

Cool, do you know if it has any coursework modules you'd have to do?
and it'd be viewed fine as 1) you have many other subjects and so it would not count whatsoever in terms of it being done at a ''wrong time'' as you have I believe 4 A2s which is more than enough and 2) it's completed in your 2-year A level period

so, go for it, if you want to, imo, might as well get another AS out of it

20% is coursework, but it's written coursework. When it came to being certificated, would it just look like I took four AS-Levels in my first year, and four A2s and an AS in my second? Or would Universities be able to see that I did it over two years?

They probably will be able to see but as I said it wouldn't matter whatsoever considering your other subjects etc and it's done in the right time-frame. plus rather have something than nothing right?
