Does anyone have study leave from their sixth form/colleges already!? We're still learning the bloody content! This is sooooo unfair if this is the case!

I really doubt it! Most colleges only have study leave when the exams are, not this soon in advance! We're still learning the content too

We will only get 3/4 weeks study leave in May and June, other than that we are in school the entire time although if we have afternoon january exams we can have the morning of that day off aswell

No.... Why would it be now? Many subjects still have alot to go.

We've been at college a term, a lot of which has been spent settling in. Study leave would just be silly at this point. No study leave at my college though for Jan exams (which i should be glad of as I don't have any!). Study leave in May starts a couple of weeks before May half term.

I remember finishing on the same day as May half term and only returned to school in time for the first exam until all of them were finished. The policy will vary between schools and may even be different depending on where you live, if some LEAs have a whole-county policy.

At my school, lessons continued as normal until May half term, after which students were only required to attend lessons in which they were still to be examined.

A lot of schools have just come out of half term and there's still a long way till December. Officially a lot of schools don't give study leave in January but most know that with students taking exam in this time most teaching will be disjointed especially for A2 students, so some teachers are willing to turn a blind eye to a few days off in January.

We only get study leave from 26th May (for Y13; Y12s start earlier but have to come back after exams) and none in January.

TBH why would you? You've only just got back, and we're only halfway through the content for the Jan exams!
