Default How are people finding their AS levels??

Everyone told me that the gap between AS level and gcse is massive; but although it is early days still I haven't noticed that much of a gap tbh.
I've done really well in the tests that have been set which suprised me,I expected to really struggle for the first few months.
Hows everyone else coping??

I've found three of them really similar to GCSE so far and I'm doing pretty well in them (Media, English Lang, Psychology) but I absolutely hate Biology and I find it really hard :| I only took it to be balance out the more Englishy subjects with a Sciency one.

I've found chemistry to be pretty easy, vast majority of stuff I did in GCSE anyway and C1 maths seems fairly easy too. Further maths and physics a bit more of a jump but I still wouldn't say it's that hard to cope with.

They're going okay at the moment and the gap hasn't seemed that big, but I've just seen the full list of formulae for maths I just need to get into the habit of writing essays again

For the most part I'm finding it ok. I'm enjoying Psychology more than I expected. Physics is the only thing that I'm slightly worried about, electricity my worst part. Thankfully, I'm good at revising, things should be ok

What subjects are you taking?
I did sciences and maths (I'm in A2 now) and there is a big jump.. you may not have found this yet as some topics are much harder than others and it depends what order you're taught them in. Good luck though and well done on the good test results

Finding Biology a bit hard, chemistry is alright so far. I never knew the workload would be so much for A-level.

I'm finding it alright - not as big a jump as some people told me. German isn't a huge jump in my opinion; it's harder sure, though not SO much harder. Theology is pretty easy in my opinion, probably because I just love it so much. Same with economics, that's going pretty easy atm too - I can see why some people find it hard though. Politics is probably the one I've found most challenging out of them all, though I joined that midway in October. I understand the electoral systems topic though, caught up with that etc, and referendums are alright too; it's just the marking of it which sort of makes it hard for me, not so much the understanding.

Chemistry is more like maths atm but not very hard otherwise. Biology is simple but for the awkward style of the exams and having to write an essay for every answer. Physics is ok and very interesting, just the concepts are a little dificult and difficult to explain. Math is annoyingly hard and my teacher isn't making it much better. Strange because I thought I was best at this. But mostly it's just remembering stuff which isn't exactly hard.
