I used to work with a girl who was about 5ft or less. I enjoyed bullying her - pushing her about, 'accidently' elbowing her in the face, referring to her by anything but her name and generally just being a prick to her. She was really passive and had a weak voice (seriously, sometimes she would try to join in on a conversation and I would have to stop and genuinely ask if she said something) - but you know what, I would have done her, and so would every other straight male who worked there. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with her height, but clearly it wasn't putting anyone off.
In general are short petite women as attractive as average or tall women? By short I mean 4ft11/5ft and thin? Or do honestly see a short body as an 'imperfection'?
I consider short as an advantage. Can't comment on other boys taste, but I like short angry girls :P
I am 5ft 2 and petite. I was in a party the other day standing around and one of my much taller male friends saw me came up and lifted me up like I weighed nothing
FFS... I don't understand women and worrying about how their body looks... if you can draw me inot an interesting convo, and u have a pretty face, i don't care how ur body looks tbh...

I don't know why you would feel proud of that to be honest.
Looked it up- 5ft 3.
Though I'd never heard of her before you mentioned her!
yeah I just googled it now & almost all the prettiest celebrities are 5.3
mila kunis, winona ryder, audrey tautou, natalie portman, kristin kreuk, jennifer love hewitt, rachel bilson, isla fisher, even elizabeth taylor etc
short usually looks more feminine
salma hayek is even smaller only 5.2!
I honestly prefer a girl I can tower over, so I feel like I'm protecting her (:
Any girl over 5'11 I would find intimidating
Don't know if this goes for other guys though..

Short girls are good for protectiveness and, by extension, cuddles. Tall girls are good for dancing and kissing. I find both appealing, I guess - petite girls are cuter and tall girls are sexier. Mmm. Ideally though, I think, I'd go for someone taller - less neck pain

Fair enough, but being a short man a tall girl by my side would just look silly. In all honesty if I liked her as a person, height would be irrelevant.

Its a guilty pleasure - if anything i'm proud of her. I've accidently made girls cry with off-hand comments, yet when I actually tried to break a quiet midget she managed to take it like a trooper. I wonder if being small and petite helps a girl build character?

I hope not...but then again I kinda find intimidating girls a bit of a turn on...I don't know if that goes for other guys though.

A man who's thought the practicalities through
Personally I almost always find shorter girls hotter, as long as they're skinny.
Dunno why, I guess tall girls look slightly more intimidating and short girls are cuter. Also quite feminine. It's funny because the stereotype of a sexy girl is taller, but I think at least a lot of guys are more attracted to shorter girls.

Oh, right. I'm 6'2". Hence why tall girls make things easier

Bang on the money with the last paragraph - I think it comes from the implied vulnerability/protectiveness. I don't personally feel particularly intimidated by taller girls, although I know what you mean; it feels 'right' when they're shorter than you.

As I basically said before - I don't think she gave a ****. I think you guys are more offended than she was.

I really don't get this - could you imagine a girl finding a guy really attractive because he looks vulnerable and requires protection?
I'm not saying that I find short girls a turn off - and in a sense any backbone they showed would be exponentially more attractive (its harder to be tough when you are tiny, I can appreciate that) - but girls that need looking after; well I can't help but see that as an incredibly unattractive quality.
I guess I hold guys like you partially responsible for the fact most girls do need/want to be looked after.
