When you say "chav", the pejorative often includes some kind of stereotypical image, attitude or ideology (or lack of). Funnily enough, this often leads to sweeping social and professional discrimination of a great majority of people - who simply can not either afford to escape assigned epithet, or simply do see any valid (and I would agree) reason to do so - but yet may actually contribute to society within their means.
The point is, the intended notion does not include all those arbitrarily assigned its motif.
I myself am also against anti-social and inappropriate behavior in our streets and our society as a whole - but it simply does not do to take the sweeping, bigoted and plainly ignorant term "chav" as the actual definition to the problem. Further, it clearly does not work. This generic and plainly pathetic term, does nothing more then exasperate the genuine sub-verse social issue in British Society.
I think you're a bit odd, but I'm a student at university so that's not surprise.
however I agree with you on this.
